The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating machinery such as our Shear, Press Break, and/or Plasma Table, including set-up, production and quality-checking final product. Help keep all materials and inventory organized. Capable of lifting and handling material. Able to read and use measuring tools. Must be a motivated, self-starter and have a willingness to learn, ability to read and interpret blueprints, and computer experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 year's relevant experience required operating press brake, mechanical shear, and/or plasma table
- Some college preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Computer with math skills helpful
- Familiarity with the manufacturing industry
- Strong communication skills.
OTHER JOB INFORMATION:
- Wage: $20.00-$25.88/hr based on experience
- Position is full-time – 40 hours/week.
