For the budget minded customer, the low cost Hydra-View Port Mounted Fire Hydrant Marker without Spring is the way to go. It's manufactured with the same degree of quality components that are used in the Hydra-Finder except the spring has been replaced with a Port Mount Ring. The high-visibility Hydra-Finder allows for quick location, even when hydrants are buried in snow or covered with seasonal vegetation overgrowth. It requires no maintenance and can be left up all year round. The resilient 3/8" diameter, white laminar matrix fiberglass Hydra-Finder shaft is corrosion free and UV resistant. This unit is intended for areas not prone to vandalism and crime. This unit is not suggested for areas with large concentrations of children such as schools, parks, playgrounds or bus stops.
